All Ireland Scholarship Scheme
The All Ireland Scholarship Scheme will provide third-level education scholarships to 120 top-performing Leaving Certificate students from disadvantaged backgrounds each year.

Donogh O’Malley Scholarship Scheme
This scholarship is for the top-performing Leaving Certificate students, from disadvantaged backgrounds, in the Leaving Certificate examination. The scholarships will be awarded on a regional basis. A minimum of three scholarships will be offered in each of the following regions: Dublin City and County, Rest of Leinster, Munster, Connacht/Ulster, with additional awards to be provided in the areas with greater numbers of eligible students.

National University of Ireland (NUI) Equal Educational Opportunities Scheme
The Senate has introduced an NUI Equal Educational Opportunities Scheme, under which €1,625 is granted in each constituent university to support a student(s) in economically disadvantaged circumstances. Decisions on the granting of these awards are made by the Senate Standing Committee, on the recommendations of the constituent universities. No special application is necessary.

SIPTU Education and Development Support Scheme
SIPTU (Services, Industrial, Professional and Technical Union) offers up to ten awards per year for Union members involved in study or research on a subject relating to trade union issues and industrial relations. Each award is worth €1,000 for each year of study up to a maximum of four years. Terms and Conditions apply.
