The following universities are approved colleges for the purposes of the Fund:
Dublin City University
National University of Ireland, Galway
National University of Ireland, Maynooth
Trinity College Dublin
University College Cork
University College Dublin
University of Limerick
Courses in the above institutions that fall into any of the categories below are approved courses under the Fund for Students with Disabilities:
- Full-time undergraduate courses of not less than two years' duration
- Full-time postgraduate courses of not less than one year's duration
- A full-time undergraduate course of a minimum duration of one year which represents progression from a FETAC Level 5 qualification (formerly known as FETAC (NCVA) Level 2 qualification) and which leads to the award of a qualification of higher education standard following a terminal examination
- A full-time undergraduate course of a minimum duration of one year which represents progression from a Level 7 (Ordinary Bachelor Degree or National Diploma) course to an ‘add-on’ Level 8 (Honours Bachelor Degree) course
