I am aged at least 21 and am entering a further education course approved for the BTEA

From 1st May 2009, in order to be eligible for the BTEA you must be in receipt of one of the following payments for at least three months (78 days):

  • Jobseeker's Allowance or Benefit
  • Farm Assist
  • One-Parent Family Payment
  • Widow’s or Widower’s Contributory or Non-Contributory Pension
  • Carer’s Allowance (having ceased caring responsibilities on a permanent or temporary basis)
