Check your Documentation
When applying for a maintenance grant you will be asked to provide a number of documents in support of your application. Although the closing date for applications is generally not until the end of August, it is very important to start assembling the documents you need well before then. Sometimes there can be a delay in obtaining certain documents.
Documents detailing income generally relate to the previous year: e.g. if you are applying for a maintenance grant for 2009/10, you will be asked for a P60 for the year 2008.
