My Chosen Course is an Approved Postgraduate Course Grant aid for postgraduate studies shall be limited to a maximum of four years in total. Account is taken of all previous attendance and attainment at postgraduate level when considering grant aid entitlement for postgraduate study regardless of whether a person previously received a grant or not. NOTE: The second chance option for re-entry, which allows those who have dropped out of a course without qualifying to return and re-start their studies after 5 years, is also to be applied without the requirement to return to a course at the same level, but subject to the principle of progression.
